As described in this policy below, we use the information we collect from school administrators, teachers, parents, guardians, and students in connection with their use of our Products to provide the Products and related services to any school district and library customers. We do not use personal information - that is, information that identifies an individual or relates to an identifiable individual -- for any other purpose.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Personal Information When you register, you may provide to Little Monkey and Mouse your "personal data" (such as your full name, email address, address, photo and other profile information, and username and password). A school administrator or teacher will also provide the school he/she is working at, and other educator profile information. A parent may also provide their child information, such as child's name, grade level, birthday, school/teacher information. When you place an order, you may provide additional information such as gift message, gift purchase for etc.
  • Web analytics Information about how, where, in a general sense (based on IP address), when, and for how long a user accesses and uses our Products, as well as what content he or she views, what actions he or she takes or downloads, and how he or she navigates through our Products. We may use cookies, pixel tags and other technologies to collect these information. Information about the user's device, such as mobile device type, browser type and version, operating system name and version, IP address, and referring URL. We collect this information automatically when a user accesses our Products, to help us understand usage, diagnose problems, administer our Products and provide support. We work with third-party service providers to collect these information.
  • Cookies Information collected through cookies, IP addresses, and other persistent identifiers to authenticate users in order to ensure that out authorized individuals are permitted access to our Products.

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • To permit school administrators and teachers to review their online book fair or birthday book program transactions and reports.
  • To personalize user experience, such as displaying his or her name on the user dashboard; or directing them to view their school portal, teacher wish lists and book recommendation lists.
  • To permit school administrators and teachers to share their wish lists and book recommendation lists on their school portal page.
  • Communicate with you about special offers, new products, events that may be of interest to you.
  • Conduct research and perform analysis in order to measure, maintain and improve our Products & services.

How we use cookies

You can choose not to provide your Personal Information to us. Registration is not required to browse our catalog, products and product reviews. However, registration is required for placing an order, to participate in Online Book Fair or Birthday Book Program.

You can edit or delete Personal Information in our records. If you register and provide Little Monkey and Mouse with Personal Information, you may update, correct, or delete your account and information at any time by reviewing your profile information and preferences on your account page. Parents may modify or delete Child records.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

We may change this Privacy Policy. We will post the amended Policy on this page and indicate at the top of the page the date the Policy was last revised. Any changes will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy.
